RCIA – Rite Of Christian Initiation For Adults

Category: RCIA,

In the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus told His Church to go out into the world and make disciples, disciplined followers of Him.

In celebrating this month of Our Lady’s final journey to God in her Glorious Assumption, let us ask her motherly intercession to draw souls to the Sacred Heart of her Son.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey too – of conversion to God, and what He intends for us.  RCIA is the process where someone is either Not Baptized, Baptized, but hasn’t celebrated Confirmation and Holy Eucharist, or someone who is a Baptized Christian from a Protestant or Evangelical background, becomes a member of the Church, on pilgrimage to our Heavenly Father.

Meetings are each Monday at 7PM in the Hayes Community Room.  The RCIA Team would love to meet you there. If you have questions or would like further information, please call the Parish Rectory at:  (847) 872-8778.
